The answer to this question varies on a case-by-case basis.
Generally, the most important factor to consider is the distance of the door to the metal gate (if there’s a metal gate), or the metal gate handle if it’s on the same side. We’ll need at least 9cm for the Aqara N100 and A100, and at least 6.5cm for the Aqara D100.
Other factors include thickness of door, door material, and existing lock hardware. It can be impossible to answer for all these variables in one page, so our best suggestion is for you to get in touch with our sales team, and send us some pictures. The pictures that will be helpful to us will be:
