This package turns eight existing light-switch points into smart controls while keeping everyday wall-switch operation familiar. The fixed price includes the hub, professional switch replacement, app configuration and a walkthrough after setup.

Confirm the gang mix later or enter it now
A gang is the number of buttons on one wall-switch plate. A switch controlling one light is usually 1-gang; a plate controlling two or three lighting circuits is 2- or 3-gang.
The package starts with the exact mix left for later confirmation. If you already know your switch layout, select “I already know my gang mix” and enter quantities that total eight. Otherwise, continue and we will confirm the combination with you before installation.
No neutral wire required at the switch point
The included D1 models are no-neutral switches, so they do not require a neutral wire at each existing switch point. They are designed as direct replacements for compatible standard 86 mm wall switches.
Compatibility still depends on the existing wiring and connected lighting load. We confirm the details before installation, particularly where a light fitting, driver or two-way circuit needs attention.
Installation and app setup boundaries
Package installation covers replacement and installation of the eight included switches. It does not include rewiring, other electrical works, hacking, painting, lighting repairs or modifications to incompatible fittings.
App setup covers adding the package devices to Aqara Home, naming and organising them, and showing you how to use the system. It is included as part of the complete package.

Smart switch package questions
Is the price fixed if I choose more 3-gang switches?
Yes. Any valid mix of eight included 1-, 2- and 3-gang D1 switches stays at the same $999 package price.
Should I select all 3-gang switches to maximise my value?
You can, but we do not recommend choosing gangs you do not need. Wall switches should remain simple and intuitive. A 3-gang switch at a point controlling only two lighting circuits leaves one button that either does nothing or must be assigned to a scene. Although a scene button can sound useful, unnecessary controls make a smart home harder to understand and use. Choose the gang count that matches each switch point; the best value is a home that remains obvious to everyone.
What if I do not know how many gangs I have?
You do not need to choose a gang mix. Continue with eight switches included, and we will confirm the exact selection before fulfilment and installation.
Does the package require neutral wiring?
The included D1 switches are no-neutral models and do not require a neutral wire at the switch point. We still confirm compatibility with your existing wiring and lights before installation.
Is professional installation included?
Yes. Direct replacement and installation of the eight package switches is included. Rewiring, hacking, painting and other electrical or repair work are outside the package.
Can I add switches or another M200 hub?
Yes. The add-ons page offers additional D1 switches and M200 hubs, with their product and service costs shown separately in the total.
Why does the package include an M200?
The M200 connects the included Aqara switches to the Aqara Home system. It can also provide supported Matter and Thread hub functions and control a compatible infrared air-conditioner in the room where it is placed.
