The Flagship is the full-sized display — 132 split-flap characters across 6 rows of 22, about the size of a 42-inch TV. It's a wall-mounted centrepiece. The Note is smaller and more playful — 45 characters across 3 rows of 15. It can sit on a shelf, desk, or countertop, or be wall-mounted. Both use the same app and the same Vestaboard+ service. Yes. HomeSmart Singapore (PFE Technologies Pte Ltd) is an authorised Vestaboard retailer in Singapore. Every unit we sell is genuine, comes with full 2-year manufacturer warranty, and is supported by both our local team and Vestaboard directly.

Yes, no issues at all. Vestaboard supports 100–240V, so it runs natively on Singapore's 230V supply. All units include a 50cm length Type G power cable (the standard Singapore three-pin plug), so there's no adapter needed.

The Flagship mounts to a wall using an included bracket system — similar to hanging a TV. It needs to be anchored to wood studs or a concrete wall. For HDB flats and condos with concrete walls, this is straightforward with the right fixings. Installation takes about 30 minutes with two people.

The Note is more flexible — it can sit on any flat surface without a stand, or be wall-mounted.

Ideally, you'd have an electrical outlet directly behind or just below where the Vestaboard is mounted, so the cable stays hidden. If you're planning ahead, an electrician can install a recessed outlet behind the mounting position.

The Flagship weighs about 25 kg with the frame (around 20 kg without) — comparable to a large TV. It's a two-person lift for installation. The Note weighs about 12.7 kg with the frame.

Any standard home Wi-Fi network with internet access. Ethernet is also supported if you prefer a wired connection (no PoE). Setup is done through the Vestaboard app on iPhone or Android.

The Vestaboard App is available on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and is meant to be set up by users themselves. We can help remotely, or you may also reach out to [email protected] for any support-related enquiries. Any onsite service visits are chargeable.

Out of the box with the free app: custom messages, patterns, colours, and scheduled messages. You type or design on your phone or browser, and the flaps spin to display it. Multiple people can be invited to send messages to the same board.

With Vestaboard+ (yearly subscription, paid directly to Vestaboard), you get access to over 450 channels and integrations — Spotify now playing, Google Calendar events, weather updates, sports scores, daily quotes, Slack messages, and more. You can also create custom automated channels.

Yes. Vestaboard+ is a cloud service that works globally. The subscription is managed directly through your Vestaboard account. Most channels work worldwide, though some content like specific sports leagues may be more US-focused. Weather, calendar, Spotify, Slack, and most popular integrations work perfectly in Singapore. Please note that Vestaboard+ prices displayed in the app are in USD and is paid directly to Vestaboard Inc.

Vestaboard has a public API and supports IFTTT, which means it can be triggered by smart home events. There's also a community-built Home Assistant integration. If you're running an Aqara smart home (which we specialise in at HomeSmart), there are interesting automation possibilities. Talk to us if you'd like to explore smart home integration.

The sound of the flaps spinning is part of the experience — it's a satisfying mechanical clatter, not a buzzing or whining noise. Think departure board at an old train station. The app lets you set quiet hours so it won't update during the night.

Vestaboard includes a 2-year limited warranty for parts and labour, covering the original owner from the date of delivery. We'll help coordinate warranty matters where we can, but the warranty is provided by Vestaboard, Inc. and some issues may require working with their US-based support team.

Out-of-warranty repairs are handled directly by Vestaboard. Common replacement part costs include individual flap bits (~US$24 each), wall mount brackets (~US$49), and computer modules (~US$129).
