Warranty & Repairs

What's covered, how to make a claim, and what to expect if something needs fixing.

2-year limited warranty

Every Vestaboard comes with a 2-year limited warranty covering parts and labour from the date of delivery. The warranty applies to the original owner and is provided by Vestaboard, Inc. The full terms and conditions of the warranty can be found on the Vestaboard Warranty page.

What's covered

  • Hardware defects in materials and workmanship
  • Malfunctioning split-flap mechanisms
  • Electrical and connectivity issues
  • Manufacturing defects in the frame and housing

What's not covered

  • Physical damage from accidents, misuse, or improper installation
  • Damage from power surges or water exposure
  • Normal wear and cosmetic changes over time
  • Issues caused by unauthorised modifications or repairs
  • Software issues (handled through the Vestaboard app and support)

Our role as your retailer

PFE Technologies Pte Ltd (HomeSmart Singapore) is an authorised Vestaboard retailer. We do not provide or administer the warranty for Vestaboard products — the warranty is provided solely by Vestaboard, Inc. under their terms and conditions. For all warranty claims, please contact Vestaboard's support team directly at [email protected].

We are happy to assist all HomeSmart customers where we can. As long as you're a HomeSmart customer, you'll have access to our online tech support, and we can advise on troubleshooting, navigate the warranty process, and provide additional onsite services for a fee. However, while we will make every reasonable effort to help, we cannot guarantee any particular outcome as warranty decisions are ultimately made by Vestaboard, Inc.

How to make a warranty claim

Contact Vestaboard support

Reach out to [email protected] directly. You can copy us at [email protected] if you'd like to keep us in the loop — it may also help for Vestaboard to identify us as your retailer.

Vestaboard assesses your claim

Vestaboard's support team will work with you to diagnose the issue and determine whether it falls within the warranty. This may involve troubleshooting steps, photos, or videos of the issue.

Resolution

Depending on the outcome, Vestaboard may provide replacement parts, remote troubleshooting guidance, or further instructions. Vestaboard would typically ship parts or replacements directly to your address.

Please note that Vestaboard does not provide onsite repair services — replacement parts are shipped to you and are designed to be installed by the owner (e.g. individual flap bits can be swapped out by hand). If you require onsite services for parts replacement or installation, HomeSmart can provide these services for a fee — contact us to arrange.

Out-of-warranty repairs

After the 2-year warranty period, repairs are handled directly by Vestaboard. Replacement parts can be ordered and in many cases installed by the owner. Here are approximate costs for common parts:
