M200 sends compatible commands and tracks recorded state. It does not receive native operating confirmation from the aircon.

01Does M200 work with Daikin iSmile and iSmileEco?+

These families use wireless infrared remotes and are the right type of system to check. Aqara Home still needs to match and test the controls against your exact indoor unit and remote.

02Why use M200 if my Daikin already has app control?+

M200 can place the aircon inside Aqara Home and bridge common controls to Apple Home, Google Home or Alexa through Matter. A built-in Daikin connection may be the better choice when Daikin's own diagnostics and native functions are the priority.

03Can everyone keep using the Daikin remote?+

Yes. Compatible original-remote commands can update M200's recorded state in Aqara Home. The record is based on observed commands. The indoor unit supplies no direct feedback.

04How many hubs are needed for a Daikin System 3?+

Use one M200 in each controlled room. Each hub needs line of sight to that room's indoor unit because infrared does not travel through walls.
