Tap to unlock with Apple Home Key in Apple Wallet using near field communication on iPhone or Apple Watch. It works even when the device is powered off on supported models with Power Reserve and allows remote key sharing and time-limited guest codes for secure, convenient access. Apple Home Keys support two modes – Express Mode, which unlocks the door with a quick tap; or a more secure mode which requires Face ID or Passcode before the door unlocks.

Auto lock engages when the door closes using a built-in gyroscope, with easy on/off control from the app or the Action Button and voice prompts. You may activate its Do Not Disturb mode which lowers the volume and mutes noncritical prompts for a quieter home. Create automations to turn on lights, air conditioning, or cameras when you unlock, and integrate with the Video Doorbell G410 to see who is at the door and unlock in one flow.

The Hub M100 can be paired with the Aqara U400 as an Aqara Matter Controller, enabling remote control—including locking and unlocking, adding remote periodic passwords, and checking battery level and lock status—within Aqara Home. It also supports automations and generates Matter pairing codes to integrate with more ecosystem devices.
