The Aqara Z1 Pro has up to three physical buttons meant to turn your lights on and off, like any typical switch. These buttons work out of the box, without requiring any smart integrations or wireless connectivity.

Besides these wired gangs, every Z1 Pro has a touch-based slider, meant for wireless control of other Aqara smart lights, curtains, or other smart devices. You could slide up to brighten a bulb, or slide down to dim a group of lights.

In the four-gang version, the fourth button (lowest) functions as a wireless button, which you can assign to other devices or scenes.
