A Smarter Handle on Home Security

The Aqara Smart Lock U300 is a smart, digital lock that’s built for simplicity and ease-of-use. Supporting various entry methods like fingerprint, NFC, passcode, and more – plus Apple Home Keys*. Featuring a lever controlling a single latch, the Aqara U300 is easy to install. If your existing lock is a similar single-bore lock with only a latch, then replacement may be as simple as unscrewing and screwing a few fixtures.

With Matter-over-Thread, the Aqara U300 is supported by most major platforms that support the Matter standard**, such as Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa. As a standalone product, the Aqara U300 can be set up and managed by the Aqara Home app***.

Built to last with a ten-month battery life using 4x AA batteries. Its IPX4 waterproof rating makes it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

* Requires a 2-in-1 Apple Home Hub that functions both as a Matter Controller and a Thread Border Router, such as the HomePod Mini.
** May require additional hardware, such as the platform’s Matter Controller.

Apple Home Keys & Various Unlocking Methods

The U300 offers a variety of convenient unlocking methods, including Apple Home Keys (requires Apple 2-in-1 Matter controller & Border Router), fingerprint, password, NFC, and more. You can control the door lock using the app, either through integrated Bluetooth or via Matter for remote access. Additionally, it supports temporary passwords, such as one-time and periodic passwords, for easy sharing with others. The device also comes with two mechanical keys for emergencies.

Advanced Software Control

The U300 enhances home entry with Quiet Unlock Mode, automatic alerts, and hands-free unlocking, ensuring security and peace of mind through features like the Activity Log, automatic locking, and Anti-peep Pin Code Protection. It offers flexibility with Passage Mode, temporary passwords including offline passwords (One-Time Passwords), and periodic passwords available in the Aqara Home App, along with Do Not Disturb Mode.

Native Matter Support over Thread

The U300’s Matter over Thread support ensures it seamlessly integrates with top smart home systems like Apple Home and Google Home, enhancing user convenience through extended battery life and efficient remote management. Suggested hub for this smart door lock would be the M3 Hub as it also supports matter over thread.

Battery Life and Suitability

The U300’s advanced engineering includes IPX4 waterproofing, and operates at temperatures of as low as -30°C. It uses power source of 4 AA batteries, lasting an estimate of 10 months. This ensures durable, reliable performance and adaptability to various environmental challenges.

Settings can only be adjusted via direct Bluetooth connection.
Upon release, U300 will support integration with Apple Home, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa Matter controllers. Compatibility with Samsung SmartThings controllers is planned to be introduced shortly thereafter.
Battery life is based on up to 10 daily unlocking and locking actions via fingerprint/NFC.
AA batteries are not rechargeable.
