Fully Automatic Smart Gate Lock
The Homesmart.sg Metal Gate Lock is a secure smart lock that was designed and built for use on metal gates. It supports multiple users – and every user can add their own, personal authentication methods, such as fingerprints and thumbprints, PIN codes, and NFC or RFID devices. Adding and managing users and authentication methods can be done conveniently using a smartphone app, through a secure Bluetooth connection. Going keyless never looked so good.
The Homesmart.sg Metal Gate Lock also features automatic locking – close the gate, and it locks once it senses that the door is closed. This function can also be disabled by app.
This gate lock was designed for use on metal gates with accessible grilles – that is, you won’t be able to unlock the gate simply by reaching through the gate. Instead, unlocking the gate lock from the inside requires the use of an included remote control. A quick press from the inside unlocks the gate.
 The gate lock also includes 2 physical keys, which can be used to mechanically unlock the door.
- This is not an Aqara product, and does not use the Aqara Home app. Instead, it uses its own separate app.
- Requires 4x AA batteries to operate.

The biometric identification speed of the fingerprint reader is less than 0.5 seconds, and the fully-automatic locking/unlocking cylinder reacts instantaneously and retracts the bolts.
All this means that your gate will be unlocked faster than you can say ‘where’s my keys?’Â

The Homesmart.sg Metal Gate Lock features its own smartphone app – connect your phone to your lock through a secure bluetooth connection, and easily manage the lock’s settings and users.
Each user sets their own PIN codes and fingerprints. Adding a new user, and a new fingerprint, takes less than 2 minutes. Similarly, it’s possible to conveniently remove users’ fingerprints and PIN codes – all of which takes effect immediately.
You’re also able to access records and logs of your gate lock by the app, including the time and date stamps of locking and unlocking.

Unlock Gate and Door with the Same Methods
Even though the Homesmart.sg Metal Gate Lock is a standalone lock, you can still enjoy seamless convenience to access both your gate lock and other digital or smart door locks.Â
As long as your digital lock supports fingerprint, PIN, and RFID access, it’s possible to use the same methods to unlock both your gate and your door. The same fingerprint or thumbprint can unlock both your gate lock and your digital door lock.
Using an Aqara Smart Door Lock? You’re in luck! The Aqara NFC cards can be programmed to unlock both the Metal Gate Lock and the Aqara door lock. Of course, you’ll also be able to use the same fingerprints and PIN codes to unlock both door and gate.

Is this Metal Gate Lock compatible with all gates?
No, but it supports most gates, especially the default HDB BTO ones. To be sure, you can drop us a message with a photo of your gate.

Do you have synchronized unlock for the gate and door lock?
No, it's not possible to configure the door lock to unlock when the gate lock is unlocked. However, unlocking both gate lock and door lock using the same fingerprint, PIN code, or NFC card is possible, and is very convenient!

Is it inconvenient to have gate locks and door locks of different brands and apps?
Actually, no! Having them on the same app is convenient only for adding and managing users, which is a one-time process in the initial setup. Once done, there's no real reason to go back to the app - normal operations of unlocking using fingerprint or NFC cards doesn't require the app.
Once everything is set up, unlocking both gate and door using the same fingerprint or Aqara NFC card is very convenient.

Can the Metal Gate Lock unlock using the Aqara NFC Card?
Yes. You can programme the NFC card to unlock the gate lock. The same NFC card can be programmed to unlock an Aqara Smart Door Lock.

Yes! There's a bundle for the Aqara A100 + gate lock, and another bundle for the Aqara D100 + gate lock.

How do I unlock the Metal Gate Lock from the inside?
You can use the included remote control, which resembles a car key fob. It can be mounted on the inside of your door, giving you quick and easy access to unlock your gate.
Pressing the button unlocks the gate in less than 1 second.

How long is the battery life?

What if the lock runs out of power when I'm outside?
The Metal Gate Lock can be temporarily powered using a powerbank and a micro-usb cable.
