Aqara Curtain Controller Zigbee

The Aqara Curtain Controller Zigbee is the workhorse of your smart curtain system. Compact and whisper-quiet, it mounts discreetly at one end of the track and moves your curtains open or closed automatically – or on command.

Requiring wired power for continued, uninterrupted performance for years, the Aqara Curtain Controller doesn’t require any maintenance, upkeep, or charging.

The Aqara Curtain Controller Zigbee makes up one part of the Aqara Smart Curtain System. It requires a specialized motorized track to function. We only supply smart curtain systems as a set, and thus do not supply motors individually.

The Aqara Curtain Controller Zigbee uses Zigbee 3.0 to connect to an Aqara Hub, thereby integrating seamlessly as one part of your smart home – among your lights, door locks, sensors, and more.

Once connected to your smart home, the motor can be controlled and configured by your smart home system. Create automations – opening or closing your curtains at certain times each day – or include your curtains as part of your smart home scenes.

With support for Apple Home and Google Home, controlling your curtains can also be as easy as asking Siri or Google.

The Aqara Curtain Controller is built of high-quality aluminium with an IP40 rating. The 1.2 N/m motor housed in the enclosure is built to be highly efficient, with smart adaptations to your track length. After the first calibration, the motor slows down when reaching the end of the tracks to come to a gentle, complete stop.

You’ll be hard-pressed to hear the motor while in operation, with whisper-quiet mechanisms that’s engineered to be silent. More importantly, our custom-fabricated tracks are also designed with sound-dampening materials for ultra-silent operation, so both motor and track can work with the lowest noise interruptions.

The motor can move up to 50kg of curtains at a rate of 14 cm / second.
