The Homesmart.sg Aqara Smoke Detector has a built-in siren that goes up to a powerful 90 decibels – loud enough to wake you up. It also has an LED indicator which will blink.
Once integrated into your Homesmart.sg smart home, it can trigger all of your siren-equipped Homesmart.sg Aqara Hubs throughout your home via the alert system.
In larger homes with multiple Aqara Smoke Detectors, they’ll be automatically grouped, so that one alarm will trigger all the other detectors’ sirens.

Remote Alerts
The Homesmart.sg Aqara Smart Smoke Detector employs the Zigbee 3.0 wireless standard, so that you can enjoy the benefits of the fastest, most stable, and energy-efficient smart home technology. With this wireless connectivity, your Smoke Detector can be integrated into your Homesmart.sg Aqara smart home, which gives you remote notifications and functionalities.
As part of your Aqara Home or Apple HomeKit smart home, the smoke detector can push notifications, even remotely, to your phone or any other smart devices upon any incidents of smoke detection.
It also fully supports Apple HomeKit’s Critical Alerts – which adds urgency to your notification and bypasses Do Not Disturb settings.

The Homesmart.sg Aqara Smoke Detector is made of a flame retardant material, and features an insect-proof net and one-button control. It also has a ten year battery life to minimize downtime.

Setting up was easy. Linked to Aqara Hub M2. Could test the siren and it’s very loud. Haven’t actually tested if it detected smoke.
