Surface-Mounted, Modern Smart Lock for Classic Entrances

The Aqara U500 Rim Lock mounts onto the inside face of the door and frame instead of replacing the lockset inside the door — the all-in-one lock mechanism eliminates the need for an additional mortise lock. That makes it the right pick when your door already uses a rim-style lock, or when you want smart access without touching the existing lockset, as on many older Singapore homes.

Will It Fit Your Door?

• Door thickness: 20–60 mm
• Backset: 40–45 mm; door gap: 3–7 mm
• Mounting holes: ø12 mm × 2, ø50 mm × 1
• The door and frame must sit flush — if they don’t, this lock can’t be installed

A built-in gyro sensor detects when the door is closed and locks automatically — no additional contact sensor needed.
