Frameless glass doors — offices, shops and a growing number of condo and landed entrances — have always been the door type smart locks couldn’t touch: there’s no lock body to replace, and drilling tempered glass is not an option. The Aqara U500 Glass Door Lock solves it with a clamp-on mount that leaves the glass completely untouched.

Simply add your home key to Apple Wallet and unlock your door with a single tap using your iPhone or Apple Watch. Equipped with a high-resolution 160×160 pixel sensor, this lock identifies your fingerprint instantly and accurately. It stores up to 50 unique prints so your family and friends can come and go with a single touch — all biometric data stays on the lock, protected with AES encryption.

Gyroscope Auto-Lock

A built-in gyro sensor detects when the door is closed and locks automatically — no additional contact sensor needed.

Do Not Disturb Mode

Mute all general alerts during set hours, while still being notified of forced entry, a door left ajar or other critical events.

Only the admin can unlock the door, preventing exterior keyless entry while allowing free exit from inside — perfect for a secure night’s sleep.

The U500 integrates with the Aqara Doorbell Camera Hub G410, so you can see who is at the door and unlock directly from the Apple Home app. Set up when-if-then rules to trigger intelligent interactions — for example, turn the lights on automatically when the door opens.
