You have existing curtain tracks and want to keep them. The Aqara Curtain Driver E1 clips onto your existing track without tools or modifications. This is the lowest-friction upgrade path.
You have existing roller blinds with a beaded chain. The Aqara Roller Shade Driver E1 motorizes the existing beaded cord on your roller blind without replacing the blind itself.
You are renovating or installing new curtains from scratch. The Aqara Smart Curtain System combines a motorized track with either the Curtain Controller ZB or the Curtain Motor C3. This gives you the cleanest, most integrated result.
You want a complete roller shade or combi blind system. The Aqara Roller Shade System T1S is a full solution that includes all the components needed for roller blinds, combi blinds, and venetian blinds.

Aqara Curtain Driver E1
Aqara Smart Curtain Driver E1
Curtain driver that can be simply mounted to your existing curtain tracks without needing any tools, and giving your curtains smart controls.
The Aqara Curtain Driver E1 is the simplest entry point into smart curtain control. It clips directly onto your existing curtain track without any drilling, tools, or track replacement. The driver sits on the track and physically pulls the curtains open and closed.
This is the right choice if your tracks are in good condition and you do not want to replace them. Setup can usually be completed in minutes.
The E1 is battery-powered with a 6,000 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery lasting up to approximately 12 months, and can also be run continuously via USB-C. It has a built-in light sensor, allowing the curtains to respond automatically to brightness levels. It connects via Zigbee and requires an Aqara hub for smart home integration.
Two versions are available: Track version (for U-rails and I-rails) and Rod version (for rods and U-rails and I-rails). Centre-open curtains require two units, one for each side.

Aqara Smart Roller Shade Driver E1
Roller blind motor that can be easily added to existing blinds with beaded loops, giving it new, smart automations and controls.
The Aqara Roller Shade Driver E1 gives smart motorized control to existing roller blinds by mechanizing the beaded chain. It screws to the wall beside the blind, and the beaded cord of the blind is inserted into the driver. No replacement of the blind mechanism is required.
It is compatible with beaded chain roller blinds using plastic or metal beads with a thickness of 3 to 6 mm. Four adapters are included in the box. It does not support cordless or spring-operated roller blinds.
The driver runs on a built-in rechargeable lithium battery lasting approximately 2 months per charge (based on a 1.8m x 1.8m blind operated once daily), and can also be run continuously via USB-C. Recommended maximum blind weight is 3 kg for reliable performance and battery life.
It connects via Zigbee and requires an Aqara hub for smart home integration.

The Aqara Smart Curtain System is a complete motorized curtain solution that includes a motor, a motorized track, and standard installation. This is the right choice when setting up new curtains from scratch during a renovation, in a new home, or when replacing old tracks entirely.
You choose the motor and the track type. Prices include motor, track, and standard installation on concrete ceilings below 2.8m. Curtain fabrics are not included.
Choosing a Motor: Curtain Controller ZB vs Curtain Motor C3
Both motors require specialized motorized tracks and wired 230V power. The tracks for each motor are not interchangeable, so your motor choice locks in your track type.
Aqara Curtain Controller ZB The ZB is the standard motor in the system. It has a rated torque of 1.2 N/m supporting up to 50 kg, with very quiet operation and a pull-to-start function. It supports both Apple Home and Google Home, making it the better choice if Google Home integration is a requirement.
Aqara Curtain Motor C3 The C3 is the premium motor. It has a rated torque of 2.0 N/m supporting up to 80 kg, variable speed control (from very slow to fast), and operates as quietly as 26 dB at its slowest speed. It also adds a pull-to-stop function on top of pull-to-start. It supports Apple HomeKit but does not support Google Home. The C3 is the right choice for heavier curtains, S-fold systems, or where very gradual and quiet operation is a priority such as for waking-up automations.
