If you are renovating or replacing your curtains, we make a complete motorised system to your measurements. If your curtain rod, rail or blind chain is in good shape, a retrofit driver adds the motor and leaves everything else alone.

Day and night curtains are two moving layers. Each layer needs its own track and motor. A centre-opening retrofit also needs one Curtain Driver E1 for each curtain panel.

We make the track, supply the fabric and install it all

Most curtain problems are not motor problems. A track that does not suit the window, fabric that stacks in the wrong place, or no power where the motor needs it will spoil the result. Because we make the track ourselves and fit the fabric and motor together, we get all three right at once.

Once the motor is on your hub you rarely need the app. Set a schedule, add the curtains to a scene, or press a wall switch.

Send us a photo and your measurements

Photograph the whole window, the ceiling or pelmet, the existing rail or blind chain and the nearest power point, and tell us the rough width and height. We will suggest the system and quote it. For a tricky ceiling or layout we can come and measure. Our smart-curtain ordering guide walks through measuring and quoting in more detail.

Smart curtain and blind questions

Can I motorise the curtains I already have?

Usually. Curtain Driver E1 clips onto most rods, U-rails and I-rails without changing the track. S-fold curtains, heavy layers and new day-and-night sets are better served by a complete motorised track.

Can I motorise my existing roller blind?

If it has a plastic or metal beaded chain, Roller Shade Driver E1 can turn it. Send us a photo of the chain and the blind. Cordless and spring blinds need a different solution.

What is in a complete smart curtain system?

An Aqara motor, a motorised track made to your window in our own factory, and installation. Add curtain fabric from us if you want the whole job done together.

Do day and night curtains need two motors?

Yes. The sheer and the night curtain run on separate tracks, so each needs its own motor. One centre-opening layer can run on a single track that draws both panels.

Do I need an Aqara hub?

Yes. The Zigbee motors and drivers here connect through an Aqara hub for app control, schedules, scenes and your smart-home platform. Our hub guide helps you pick one.

Should I plan power during renovation?

For a complete wired system, yes: put a 230V point at the motor end of the track before the ceiling closes. Rechargeable E1 drivers need no new power point.

Can I see the curtains working first?
