Dual-Protocol With Matter Compatibility

At its heart, the Climate Sensor W100 is a temperature and humidity sensor, taking readings of your room’s environmental metrics, and reporting it to your smart home app.

Beyond this basic functionality, the Climate Sensor W100 packs more features, such as a large LCD screen to display temperatures, and three buttons that can be configured for smart home controls.

As a component of your smart home the Climate Sensor can be wirelessly connected to your network through both Thread and Zigbee wireless protocols. It’s also fully compliant with the Matter standard, ensuring seamless integrations with third-party ecosystems such as Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home, creating a more comprehensive and unified experience.

Powered by 2 x CR2450 batteries, the device delivers an impressive battery life of up to 2 yearswith regular use. You have the flexibility to adjust the sensor’s sampling and reporting frequencyto further balance performance with power consumption.

To use this device with a Matter ecosystem, a Matter Controller and a Thread Border Router is required.
To use this device in Zigbee mode, an Aqara Zigbee hub is required.

3 Button Customisation

The Climate Sensor W100 has three customizable buttons for supporting different actions.

When added to the Aqara Home app through Zigbee, the W100 can be linked to an Aqara air-conditioner controller such as the Hub M2 or Hub M3, and the W100’s buttons can be used to remotely control your air-conditioner, including changing temperatures, fan speeds, and other modes of operation.

When added through Matter, the buttons can be configured as wireless buttons, supporting single, double and long press operations, enabling up to 9 automations or scene configurations.

Whether you want to turn on/off your device through wireless control, or switching to comfort mode with one button, the flexibility allows you to easily create an ideal living environment, and adjust your home comfort in real time.

Accuracy in A Screen

This device features a high-precision temperature (±0.2℃) and humidity (±2%RH) sensor, along with a 3.4-inch LCD screen for real-time environmental data. It not only enhances home comfort but also ensures optimal conditions for storage, greenhouses and a healthy environment for sensitive groups.

In Zigbee mode, the device can connect to an Aqara temperature and humidity sensor to display additional data in the secondary screen area, allowing users to monitor conditions in different locations simultaneously. If no external sensor is connected, the secondary screen area defaults to local temperature and humidity information, helping users easily understand their environment and maintain a comfortable living space.
